Piano Moving in the GTA
A piano is not just heavy, it is heavy in the wrong places. An upright carries most of its weight high and at the back, which is why they go over. Moving one is about equipment and crew size, not enthusiasm.
What is included
- Proper piano board, straps and padding
- A crew sized for the instrument and the route
- Route, doorway and stair protection
- Careful handling of legs, pedals and finish
What changes the price
Quoted per instrument. Stairs and tight turns matter more than distance.

FAQ
Common questions
Will my piano need tuning afterwards?
Almost certainly. Any move plus a change of humidity and temperature will pull it out. Let it settle in the new room for a couple of weeks before tuning.
What do you need to know to quote?
Type — upright, baby grand, grand — approximate size, and photos of every stair, turn and doorway on the route at both ends.
