Packing Services — Done Properly, Done Faster
Packing is the part everyone underestimates. A kitchen alone is usually a full day for one person doing it for the first time, and half-packed homes are the single biggest cause of moves running over. If you do nothing else, let someone else do the kitchen.
What is included
- Full pack, or partial where you handle the easy rooms
- Dish packs and cell dividers for glassware and stemware
- Wardrobe boxes so hanging clothes stay on their hangers
- Paper, bubble and corner protection for fragile and framed items
- Room-and-contents labelling on every box
- Priority "first night" box kept separate and loaded last
What changes the price
Quoted by volume and how much is already done. Partial packing — kitchen and fragiles only — is often the best value, because it removes the two slowest rooms.

How packing services works
-
Scope
Decide what we pack and what you pack. Kitchens, china and art are the highest-value things to hand over.
-
Materials
Right box for the contents — small and heavy, large and light. Most self-packing damage comes from oversized boxes.
-
Pack and label
Packed room by room, each box labelled with room and contents.
-
Load
Packed boxes are stackable and predictable, which is why a professionally packed home loads faster.
FAQ
Common questions
When should packing happen?
Ideally the day before. Same-day packing and moving works for small homes but makes a long day for a house.
Can you unpack too?
Yes — see our unpacking service. Most people take unpacking of the kitchen and bedrooms and handle the rest themselves.
